... our story ...
Paper Stories has been letterpressing joy into people's lives since 2005. Owned and designed by jill-of-all-trades, Kelly Maron; Kelly worked as a High School photo & design teacher and earned a Master's degree in Photography, before an affair with fine paper and hand-cranked printing led her to a 1926 Chandler & Price press, and the creation of Paper Stories.
Maron is not only committed to making these fabulous paper goods but also in leaving an ecologically and socially responsible legacy with her business. In addition to printing sustainability, using recycled and tree free papers paired with vegetable based inks, Paper Stories regularly donates a portion of their profits to charitable organizations such as Kiva.org, which provides micro-loans to entrepreneurs in developing nations. The majority of donations have gone towards women artisans. Paper Stories is also partial to several domestic organizations that provide much needed funds to classrooms and teachers in need.
